ZF powershift transmissions are OEM-fitted in the majority of wheel loaders, motor graders and articulated dump trucks operating across Gulf construction sites and East African mining projects. ZF 6WG110, 6WG200, WG211 and WG260 are fitted in Liebherr L556 to L586 wheel loaders, CASE 721 and 821, SDLG L958 and L968, Komatsu WA380 and WA470, and Bell B30E and B40E articulated dump trucks. ZF Ergopower EP-series transmissions are fitted in Liebherr L550, L566 and L580 series.
A clutch pack failure, solenoid block fault or torque converter failure immobilizes the machine completely — it cannot travel or work. The ZF transmission type designation is on a nameplate on the transmission housing — typically a rectangular plate reading e.g. "6WG200 B-7600" or "Ergopower EP420". It is different from the machine serial number. If the nameplate is missing or illegible, provide the machine make, model and year and Alisios will identify the fitted transmission type from ZF fitment records.
