The Energy Recovery PX is the single most critical energy-recovery device in modern SWRO — and the one with the longest standard lead times. When a PX unit fails, your plant either shuts down or burns double the energy. Alisios sources genuine ERI parts through authorized channels and responds in 4 hours.

ERI's PX recovers up to 98% of energy from the high-pressure SWRO reject stream. When a PX fails — rotor seizure, bearing wear, seal failure — the plant faces two options: shut down the train, or continue at double the energy cost. Most operators shut down. Standard ERI parts lead times through normal procurement can reach 4–8 weeks.
Parts: rotor assemblies, end covers, sleeve assemblies, seal kits, bearing assemblies, complete PX exchange units.
PX Q400, PX Q300 and PX Q260, plus older PX-220 and PX-300 series still in legacy Gulf plants.
Yes but at roughly double the energy cost — the high-pressure pump must supply full pressure to both membranes and reject stream. Most operators shut down the train.
ERI manufactures precision-lapped ceramic rotor components to micron tolerances. There are no aftermarket alternatives. All parts come through the ERI authorized network.
